Bramham is fantastic - great show-jumping as well as the eventing. Usually most of the Whitakers there amongst other big names. Be prepared to spend loads of money though as the shopping is great. Wish I was going this year but I have to work.

It's a really lovely event, you should definitely go if only to get to the shops before meardsall_millie empties them.

Sadly, I understand I'm going the day after you so you'll have got there first.... (remember I was with you at Milners 'Mrs Pikeur'!)

Damn you for reminding me of that m_m; it was therapy for being on crutches. Anyway, I'll be too knackered after coping with Fractious Four Year Old and Fractious Five Year Old for the day.

BYEH doesn't count cos it's not "proper" eventing, it's far more dangerous.

But rather excitingly I have noticed that Mark Todd has two in the CIC*** (absolutely no idea how I failed to notice that before

More dangerous? try riding Ernie in the dressage, with nothing but a top-hat on your head!!!

haha

Ooh, no thanks, give me Jupiter round a 2'9" course or Hector over a trakehner any day, much safer. I'll ring you when I'm there and come and find you, not in a stalker-ish way, obviously.

I have been convinced, I am going to Bramham on Saturday and doing my ODE on Sunday - it is only at Sapey, and I know the XC course there like the back of my hand so even I dont need loads of preparation

I'm not sure my stock phrase of "enjoy" will work in this case, will have to think of something else instead.
