Very nice intro course for a first timer, nice and simple xc with no scary fence dressing! Beautiful venue, pity about the weather. The s/j warm up was a bit small and got very cut up; my OH withdrew before s/j as warm up was a quagmire which doesn't suit his horse. But if the event is on next year we'll be back.
 
I agree for the intro course very good loved the venue, however getting out was a complete nightmare down the narrow lane no traffic management at all and lane not wide enough to deal with lorries in both directions. Got out in the end and had a great weekend
 
I thought it was lovely. Beautiful setting, everything close together, flat dressage arenas. Showjumping was nice and the xc outstanding. Shame the weather spoilt it a little and therefore ground got slippery in places and gluey in others. Will defo be returning.
 
I liked what I could see from the fence I was judging at yesterday although it wasn't that much! I heard good things from many people though

The few jumps I saw were lovely and really made me sad not to be riding there. It's a pity the weather was so horrible. Hopefully it will be better next year when I hope I have a horse to take!
 
spoke to Janet Plant today (Monday) and she was saying that on Sunday, 6 large lorries left together, and she and son James had a nightmare 30 minutes trying to sort out people leaving and arriving. They were assisting people reversing into gateways etc etc...not what they wanted to be doing....but hey come on people once again Janet has found, established and with any luck will carry on with a brand new event venue, where everyone will have a brilliant time. Lets give her a great big cheer.
