I have just got a new horse that has a branding on his left thigh which is two numbers on the top row and three underneath. I can't marry this up with any warmblood brands. I have established it isn't a freeze mark. Does anybody know what this might be.

My polo pony (well wow he grew too big 16.1hh!) is too!! - Though he is really special and has both off fore shoulder branded "0" and near hind - with an "H" as name of place he was bred began with an H. He is also chipped as all of Marks exported Ponies are.

The passport says breeding unknown and says the bottom three numbers are a freeze mark which i now know is not the case. The branding is just numbers and no symbol unfortunately. The three numbers is often for Danish warmbloods but it would have the crown above it. The Danish WB society don't have any reference of it though.
