Brandishing the hand sanitiser bottle at passing traffic

Well, not deliberately .

I carry a bottle of hand sanitiser with me on dog walks to use after opening/closing gates. Much of the walk is on narrow country lanes, and I’ve always given a friendly wave to traffic which slows down for us. Now I realise that I’m actually brandishing a mysterious white bottle at them - it’s too much of a handful to hold the lead and the bottle in one hand.

I usually wave at all my neighbours going past with either the little fork from the poo picker or a dog poo bag... hand sanitiser is very sane in comparison I'd say!

Once a driver stopped next to me, and my bitches, pulled down the window, and asked for directions.
I'm usually not the best at remembering where things are located, and how to get there, but how to drive to Hjällbo from Hisings Kärra I know very well because dad drives past that on the way to my sister. So I happily gesticulated how to get there with one hand, and as they drove off, I realised I had a knotted up, used poo bag in that hand.
