It goes up to 17. Juniors competing are aged 17 or under.

The rules changed this year:

In 2009 there are some changes for the Riding Clubs Competitions. Details on these changes can be found in the inserts. Juniors and seniors in 2009 - All riders in senior competitions must be 18 or over on 1 January in the current year. All riders in junior competitions must be under 18 on 1 January in the current year.
