Hi There, does anyone know Breach farm near C anterbury, they have a fab livery yard and a friend of mine did a one day event there last year, just wonderd if they have any more planned in thenear future, have looked in the phone book but cant find a number?!

Found this, which is what you want I think

CANTERBURY Breach Farm Stables, Elham Valley Road, Barham, Canterbury, Kent CT4 6LN, 01227 831138.

Well good luck with it. Hope all goes well

I have never competed outside my own yard so bit diffrent for me lol

Again good luck

Cheers, I have only just started getting out and about, we bought a manky old lorry last year, its been great, its no beauty but its never let us down. unfortunately the yard Im at doesnt do any sort of competitions.

we bought a lorry aswell and its been the making of the yard!!because its a private yard its small enough so we have no room to have competitions!!but with the lorry we load up everything with four legs (its a 7 horse lorry) and go to every competition we can its been so much fun!!though our designated driver never drove a lorry before this and we have had a few accidents with pillars gate posts etc!!he needs to practise his turning abit more!!

Its just up the road from my yard, I know it as Breach Barn Livery yard. Its the Valley Ring club that hold the one day events there.

A 7 horse lorry! Surely that's an HGV or if not would certainly be overweight with 7 horses on so how can the designated driver have never driven a lorry before unless he's driving in on his car licence?

They also run a dressage series through the spring summer months, however two lots of people run things you have the riding club and also the Farm, same place but be warned both run dressage with little walk and trot tests to start both with the same number ie Walk and Trot 2 and they'll be different tests. Hope this makes sense, lovely friendly place to go though and very helpful.

Do you find the indoor a bit of an 'odd' shape, couldn;t warm up in there very well when we went to DR in the summer, plus the box prk was miles away, poor 'groom' had to walk a few miles that day!!

Yes indoor school more square than normal school shape and the walk is a PITA! The Championships were then best when the tractor wheel wash was full of water and you had to get neddy to walk through it to get to working in area, water does not apply to my boy so they had to open the adjoining fields, then on the way back I decided that I have the time to walk through the water and some nutter decided she would 'join' with my horse and transport positive thoughts into his head, it was the most hysterical thing as I looked at my hubby, my hubby looked at me and Wills looked at us both and he still refused to go through til I got off and went through first. It's something I will never forget!
