I recently purchased a project pony from a family friend, he had been sat in a field for 9 years without being ridden but was well handled. I backed him myself last year but we had to pause his training due to injury and lack of time. I'm trying to start him up again but he refuses to co-operate with me. He has had multiple vet and teeth checks and they all say hes fine and is not in any discomfort.
I've decided I really need help with him and want someone to at least form the basics with him and then i'll continue the rest. Ideally I'd like someone in the Southampton area but I could travel elsewhere in Hampshire. I'm not looking to do anything too exciting with him in the future, just a hacking and a pleasure ride pony.
If anyone has recommendations for breakers I'd really appreciate if you linked their contact details.
