Breakfast Meets?

Am debating going along to a Breakfast Meet a week on sat but never been to one before (as in to a breakfast meet, not that I haven't been hunting before). Usual meets are 11am but this one is 9.30am. Is it going to be a case of an hour or so for breakfast, then jump on board for meet at usual time?

I need to ring the Sec anyway, as I bumped in to her 2 weeks ago and promised I would call to arrange the package I was planning on buying for this season, so will be checking with her that I've got the right idea but thought I'd see what you lot have to say about it :)
 
You got it! Arrive early meet up with friends go in have breakfast then off for a days jolly! Very nice went to one at Enville Hall a few weeks ago. Not far from you.
 
Who do you go out with Jilly? I've managed to get out cubbing a few times but so far have not managed hunting proper, and in previous seasons have only ever gone out a couple of times so never done a breakfast meet. I promised myself I would get out more this year and do it properly!
 
We had a couple of breakfasts meets this year but we went first then came back for breakfast; meant you didn't ride on a full stomach that way too! They were very popular and made a fair bit of money too.
 
AWH they meet very close to Bridgnorth at least 6 times a season, do you go with the Wheatland?
They have a very close one next week hence the search to find someone to clip Daughters pony!
 
I don't know how anyone is relaxed enough to eat breakfast before hunting - I'm such a nervous wreck I could throw up at any minute :o
 
That sounds like ours, breakfast then ride. We leave the horses on the box with a haynet and then go after breakfast. its all a bit hectic but a good chance to catch up, and a good fund raiser for the hunt so well worth supporting if you can. Have fun!

Bumped into some people I know from the hunt this afternoon out hacking and they've done a good job in convincing me to go. It's only 2 miles from the yard so he's suggested going for brekkie, whizzing back to yard in the car, then hacking quickly back over for when they move off.

Exciting!
