Its a shame because she had such promise, and i am sure if i buted her up and held her i could compete, but i wont do that :)

She is spoilt thats for sure :). I bought her a big tub of the new baileys treats, you know, the £6 tub ones? She has it outside her stable door, everytime someone comes the pet her, she has a treat. She loves it lol.

Oh I am in love with Spider and would of used him on my mare but logistics meant I couldn't. That is so exciting, I know it must be very bittersweet but what a silver lining :)

Indeed, its very bitter sweet but i am very lucky to have this option open to me. I have been in love with him for ages and always kept an eye out for him, watching his results etc :) Delicia and Spider will make very pretty babies.

Ive had her checked over by a very well known vet in the area, ive had second opinions and talked at lenght with some very knowledgable people, they dont anticipate any issue with dee carrying, if there were, i simply wouldnt risk it and would do an ET.
 
I was wondering how you and Dee were doing so I'm glad you posted even if it is to give us the news. I'm sorry this has happened but I know how much you adore her and will be her rock until she returns to her former glory, and she will return to that even if she is 'just' a happy hacker. Look after yourselves and I'm happy to see you seem cheery with life :)
 
Welcome back. Sorry to read Dee isn't 100% but hope you can enjoy the forest on her soon. Good luck with the breeding - lucky Dee to have such a gorgeous OH!

Thank you :) Dee knows no different, she is still pampered and loved, she gets lots of cuddles and rather likes all the food im shovelling down her throat :P

Oh, she's such a lovely girl. I'm sorry to hear of your troubles with her and I hope you can get her back to hacking. If not, she'll have utterly gorgeous babies- Amour G is pretty much my favourite stallion ever :D
 
Don't know the history of what happened before but I have always enjoyed the post's I have read.
Anyhoo...best of luck with Dee. Fingers crossed things go well. The main thing is you still have her and will enjoy her.

I'm so sorry to hear you've both been through so much. I loved reading your updates and thought of you the other day when I saw a facebook post from a mutual friend.

Bell Equine as fantastic and I'm sure Dee will do really well with you both taking care of her.
