Breaking cover a Delicia Update and some advice needed

So Sorry to hear about both you and Dee. Loved reading her updates and the photos of her! She is truly an amazing horse.

Glad you found the root cause of her problems and i like you would be happy if she was mine just to be able to hack her around.

Fingers crossed that everything works out well for her and you in the future!

Thank you everyone for the kind words. It's lovely to see Dee is well loved wherever she goes :).

She's a naughty pony. She's not allowed haylege because she scours when she eats it. YM turned her out in the school today. She galloped over to the far corner an threw her head down eating hungrily. Yep. There was the tiniest scrap of haylege there ever. Delicia hoovered it up and proceeded to look very pleased with herself. :D

Bad pony!

Ah I was wondering why u hadn't posted recently! Loved ur reports! Poor dee, such a beautiful horse! Can't imagine how ur feeling!

Am keeping my fingers crossed for you. And its funny how you know - mine threw me off out hacking earlier this year (after an ongoing saga following getting kicked last christmas) and she just DOESN'T do that. She ended up having surgery on both hind suspensories and I was gutted at the idea that i' might never ride her again. She's my first and has given me so much confidence, but even if she 'just' came back as a hacker i'd have been happy, and even being field sound would have been ok. Thankfully she was given the all clear a few weeks ago but funny how it changes your perspective and you realise what's important is the relationship and bond you have, as long as you have that its worth it :)

Hope that incoherent ramble made some sense!
