I have purchased some beautiful Petrie boots long boots.
I am hoping they drop a little as they are a bit tall but by god the breaking in process is crucifying my feet/legs - I’m not use to really stiff boots having only had Tredstep or Ariats in the past. Any tips on how to speed up the process?!

NAF leather balsam. It'll make the leather butter soft over night.

It's terrible for general cleaning, feels sticky afterwards and builds up but it's magic for softening. It's easy to over do it so just use a bit.

I would follow the manufacturers instructions. They are too expensive to go spoiling the leather with a concoction of lotions and potions. I just found it took time and lots of plasters to break mine in.
