Hi,

So following on from my thread http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=595313
I bought my new Sarm Hippique boots, and I have to say they look stunning!

They fit me well around the calf and foot but are a bit long/tall for me. I am not hugely concerned as looking about online it seems that they should drop by about an inch (would then be perfect), but in the mean time I am wearing them around the house to try and break them in and am in agony!

Any tips for softening them up/breaking them in before my knees fall off?! :D

Options mint hot choc on offer today ;)

Lol! had to giggle at this... I was in the same position as you quite recently. I thought mine would never go soft and was quite often shouting explicit's at a friend who badgered me to buy them!

I used Kiwi parade gloss on them twice a week and just rode in them. They became soft very quickly after that.:D

Glad I am not alone i my pain! Glad to hear yours softened up, did they drop a bit too?

Did you use the black parade gloss? Bit worried about it dying his white sides! :D

They did drop a little. Not worn them much recently as i'm keeping them for shows.
I do use the black stuff but it didn't leave any marks. Just make sure you rub it in well and wipe of any excess. I could need correcting, but I'm sure even though it is black polish, it doesn't leave a black stain.....
