Hi All

Looking for breaking schooling recommendations in Northumberland, names of people youve used with great results and horses well looked after, it is of course a minefield as there so many advertising, the pockets are certainly not endlessly lined however umless you're going to do it properly a waste of time , pref in northumberland area and surrounding
Also friend is interested in sending a problem gelding away to sort a "few issues" out again and recommendations superbly and gratefully received

Thanks .

Hi

Sorry for late reply/post but don't get on here a lot now I am horseless.....I can highly recommend Matt Earith of Kearsley Sport Horses. He is based up at Ingoe in Northumerland. He is a professional eventer but has liveries, teaches and does breaking/schooling liveries too.
I bought a young warmblood mare who had been turned away as was not making the competitive grade. She was on poor condition when I got her and after some worming and intensive TLC she felt a whole lot better, so much so that she was a bit too much for me so the sensible decision was made to have her re - schooled and sold to a more appropriate home.
My yard manager recommended Matt as she said he did the job properly - though not the cheapest.
Anyway to cut a long story short the mare went to Matt, who did a fantastic job on her......in fact the first time I went to a show to see him do a dressage test on her I did not even recognize her! She looked stunning and behaved impeccably and I was sold to a lovely permamnent home shortly afterwards.
Matt took care of everything and was professional and supportive, and crucially, honest throughout.
