Breast plate V's Breast girth?

I have a breast plate. . .i have to have one as saddle can slide back. . .

I was looking at buying an elasticated breast plate but they are a bit pricey so(well the ones i am looking at :S ). . .i wondered what people thought of Breast girths?

Or what about a V-check breastplate. . .?

I would just love your opinions and advantages/disadvantages or each sort i have listed above and anything else you can think of. .

I use a breast girth for everyday, it's uncomplicated, not much to clean, the pony doesn't wear a martingale. I prefer a hunting breastplate for hunting.

I haven't used the expensive 5-point breastplates but probably would for eventing, not that I do anything that scary.

well i have a breast girth

but i am waiting for my 5-point breastplate for xmas

breastgirth dont tend 2 have much elasticity in them for jumping

I would love a 5-point breastplate but. . .they are over £100 and i cant justify it lol
