Breastplate with wide strap between legs

I'm sure there is a proper name for the strap that goes between their legs and attaches to the girth.. but does anyone know of a leather hunting style breastplate that has a wide strap.. All the ones I've seen on standard hunting breastplates are very narriow and when the breastplate does its job this tightens up looks a bit like cheesewire on his flesh...

The Jeffries breastplates are reasonably wide and have never caused problems with my two, I guess the only other alternative would be to get a saddler to put an extra wide bit on for you?

I have a nice cotswold sport one - that seems to have plenty of leather. Nice and cheap to!
