hi i really want to get a breastplate for eventing season and i'm quite unsure about what style or size to get. i event at be90 (100 this season) with my 14.3 tb x connie and he is very slight and quite narrow so im speculating whether to go for pony or cob as he has pony boots, pony bridle and martingale. Also i asked a lady in the tack shop and she said to go for a 5 point so what good 5 point breastplates are there out there and should i go for one with elastic or not? Thanks XX

To be honest i'm not a fan of the 5 point. Too much going on for me. They are just the latest fad.

Hunter breastplate or a breastgirth and running martingale for me. :)

What do you want it to do? Stop the saddle slipping? Something to attach a running martingale to? Something to hang onto?!

Think it depends on what you want to achieve, this will help you to decide which type to go for :)
