Breathable boots

Are there any synthetic long boots which let your feet 'breathe' and stop them sweating? Or is leather the only thing that will work?

I'm not well informed about advances in shoe/boot fabric technology but with all the advances in technology for clothes fabrics, i was wondering if there are any decent alternatives to leather footwear.

Synthetic materials will make your feet sweat whereas leather is the best option for this. I cant wear synthetic shoes in the office as even in the winter they make my feet sweat
