My young boy is often seen having a hooley in the field. He has a reforming splint at moment so I am looking for a boot that offers maximum protection but that will keep the legs as cool as possible. As I am not sure who will be putting boots on (yard manager or young groom) I need something as easy a possible to fit. I'd be grateful of any suggestions.

I have recently started using the Husk boots on my boy, he loves to hoon around the field and I was worried about his legs over heating. The boots are great although the price for a set of four is a little pricey, even today with temperatures need 35 his legs where lovely and cool. https://thehusk.co.uk/

The Lemieux sports medicine ones are good no sweating in the summer. I've just replaced them with premier equine. Premier equine, they come up big so buy a size down but again, not had sweaty legs with 12hours turnout!
