Does anyone recommend any bandages advertised as breathable or cooling?

I'm keen to wrap my youngsters legs for work (blame it on my job! We bandage everything!) but want to keep her as cool as possible.

Bandages are preferable to boots so that I can use them for both horses. I'm not bothered by price as long as the product does the job.

I'm not too sure about the Husk ones, as they look like they could be quite abrasive? If anyone has any experience otherwise, please do let me know!

the husk ones are the most breathable ones that I've found and I don't find them abrasive. do you really need to be bandaging though or is it just habit? a lot of the new science is going against bandaging

Thanks for replying! Good to know about the husk bandages, I find it difficult to assess fabric from photos!

Habit and paranoia.. I've always been firmly against booting and bandaging unless necessary as I'd rather keep legs as cool as possible. My pony has hardly ever worn either. Now I've got a year of working with gangly uncoordinated young sport horses under my belt, and it's made me concerned about my own!

If you're going to bandage to protect from knocks and bangs then just pop a pair of brushing boots on. They're thinner than bandages so create less heat and if you put them on last thing tacking up and as soon as you hop off you can have the horses legs cooling down much quicker than getting bandages off!
