My horse had a general anaesthetic and since then his breathing is funny whilst schooling.
My friends horse had the same, does anyone know why this is?

It shouldn't be.
How long after the GA were you schooling ? I am assuming it was long enough that swelling from the tube has gone, in which case it is something you should get the vet to investigate before doing anymore work with the horse.

yes 7 months. Vet said it was normal.

Ive never heard of this and I've known a few horses go under GA- including my own, they never had any breathing issues after.
