Breathing Supplements

I am looking for a breathing supplement for my little coblet. I am currently using global herbs as these were reasonably well priced. However my horse doesn't like it and trying to get him to eat it is a mission and I don't think it has been that effective.

anyone got any recommendations? Think there is one called winernergy or something like that (its in a blue tub) anyone tried this?

I'm afraid I don't know of a good one, but if I were you I'd phone someone like Equimins or NAF and tell them what you're after and they can explain why their supplement is great...you can then decide which one will best suit your horse's needs...

NAF Respirator is good. They also have an excellent helpline.

I use something for my mare which I get from the vets - it's called Respimin.

Equine America Airways is good and cheap! Worth a try first before going down the expensive stuff

I use the NAF liquid one - is that the respirator? Anyway - it smells lovely - much nicer than most of the herby or powdery supplements, and my very very fussy pony seems to like it! WHich is the main thing!!

I am using the winergy one and had terrible problems getting him to eat it at first but so had to build up the amount gradually it took a month before he would eat the full dose. I tried the global herbs one too but the amount they need to is quite a lot and and I wanted a once a day supplement as my pony only has one feed a day - it is hard to get it some of the supplements down them if they are not having large feeds.

The wynergy one does seem to be quite good.

My friend used the carl hester one and she said that was brill for her horse.

You could smell it from outside the stable!
