Has anyone tried the above supplement for breathing/COPD type issues?

I've just ordered a tub to try at the recommendation of a friend, it's not too expensive so worth a punt. I just wondered if anyone else had tried it?

Secreta pro by Equistro

I figured it worth a go as it cost about half of what the NAF breathing supplements do to feed a month and I found them useless!

The Winergy breathing supplement is also good and reasonably priced. Although Naf do some decent products, I too found their breathing supplements made no difference.

Sadly did nothing for our pony. Ventipulmin was the only thing that made any difference at all.
Equine America do Airways plus which is worth a try and not expensive

Yes, I have used both the secreta pro and the respadril. The latter as a short term booster and then secreta pro for maintenance and I'm quite pleased with the results, but I am a big fan of Equistro anyway :)

I've not heard of Equistro before, but will have a look at thier other supplements, I've also ordered some ventupulmin so that should be here this week but not sure wether to start on the Secreta Pro now or after the Ventupulmin?

I would use the secreta pro after the ventipulmin, as a means to maintaining good airways.

ETS - not quite sure I should admit to it on an open forum, but I have used respadril before on myself when caught short on Sabutanol (Ventolin) - it opens your airways a treat, but tastes absolutely vile!v  :D

I used it when my mare had a virus last year - she had antibiotics which didn't clear up her cough, so we put her on this and she started snotting a load of gunk up pretty quickly :o Then she was fine.
