Brecon Horse Sales - When's the Next one?

brecon sales are held between may and novemeber..... winter months are no go....

Carmarthen has a sale every 2nd saturday of the month.

Builth wells Welshies May 14th

llany is last thurs of month
 
Thanks Ayla, I did the other thread and then realised it wasn't Builth sale I was interested in at all, it was Brecon :o :o :rolleyes:

I didn't realise Brecon was only through the Summer, bummer!

What could I expect to find at llany sales? I've never been (and if I'm honest I haven't a clue where it is :o )

Um anything and everything lol IMO better than Brecon sales

I`ve only been once and that day there were all types of welshies, gypsy cobs, tbs, a connie, a very nice 17hh warmblood. hackneys, kittens lol

Where are you from it`s really really easy to get to...

Carmarthen sale isnt too good tbh but there was a bloody lovely Buckskin tobiano sec d x there before...


This was my bargain from Llany, sec d x tb 2yo, for the bargain price of £280, got some good blood lines on him too.

My friend has a sec d filly and sec b foal, both cost £80

Another friend bought a big tb x with foal at foot in foal to a coloured stallion, foal turned out to be a cracker....

What are you after?

We are in Hereford so haven't a clue how far away we are, will have to google!

I'm not looking to buy but my friend is, she want a foal or yearling to make over 15hh, nothing to fine, the hairier the better :D
 
Was at Llanybydder today, prices were dire! Quite a few lots didnt even get bids & at one point the auctioneer offered 2 section A colts 5 guineas for the pair! Utter madness! I would say of all the sales mentioned it is the best for choice & variety, just pop your sensible head on before you get there or you will end up bringing all sorts home lol!!

3 Beasties if you do make it over this way i do have a friend with a few foals/yearlings & 2yr olds for sale, most to make over 15hh & reasonably priced!
