Can anyone recommend me some breeches for people with short legs? Love my John Whitakers but they are too long, my Caldene ones are just about short enough but could do with being a little shorter!

Thanks :P

How short are you? Im 5'2" and struggle as I have short skinny legs. I cant wear jods at all and always use breeches. I have a couple of pairs of HY performance breeches with suede/ leather seat. They stop over a hands width above my ankle bones. They are generous sizes tho, I got a 26" waist but could wear a 24".

I am a smidge over 5ft & buy jodphurs & take a scissors to the bottom of the leg, sometimes as much as 4 inches taken off. Works really well, no one can tell with socks pulled over the bottom ends, also they don't fray when cut.:)

I'm 5ft4 and always wear breeches. I like Dublin, Tally Ho (have some lovely beige ones for competing/hunting with two zip pockets which are so useful!) and the cheap Shires ones. I've got Just Togs one too but really dislike them - long, not true to size (I wear an 8 normally and they're massive) and the material is cheap and nasty.

If you have expensive taste, kingsland are good, Christina Sport are fab.

I've tried some cheap brands but have found getting them hard to fit everywhere else without looking saggy?

I really want to try Animo and Eurostar but may have to save up! In the meantime will be having a look at other suggestions!

Child jods go up to a 32 inch waist now in some brands, i wear mostly child's now, aldi ones they do on offer seem to fit well and I'm 5ft 2.
