I have had Pikeurs the last couple of times i've bought them for competitions as they are such good quality and don't make my legs look quite as awful as they might look in some beige jods!! Was just browsing net though and seen some nice lloking Ariat ones which are cheaper, does anyone have these, know what they're like?

Or can someone recomend some really good qaulity ones i haven't thought of that are super smart and hard wearing etc?

I love the Cavallo breeches for competitions. They are fantastic quality and the cream is a lovely flattering colour

I have the Ariat full seat comp breeches. Nice fabric and very comfortable - although I would have bought the Pikeur if they were not quite so expensive as the fit and fabric was lovely. Might try and get some at Burghley.

That's not much help really is it?

I have Eurostar comp breeches. They're much more supple than my Pikeur/Cavallo ones but they seem to repel the dirt just as well.

I love Pikeur.I tried the Ariat but was a bit disappointed actually wearing them as they did not feel as comfy as the Pikeur. Good 'work but not for best' breeches I think
