Can anyone recommend a really good (but not massively expensive) pair of breeches with some stick in?

They're for every day use as my 'good' pairs all have a suede-y seat already but I look stupid going about in beige breeches all the time. I'm after something navy or brown or some other practical colour which won't show every speck of dirt. I confess I only wash mine about once every three weeks so they have to be dark coloured :o

My new saddle is significantly slippier than my old one and I fear I might find myself eating dirt rather more than I would like to if I don't find something else to ride in!

I rate kerrits but beware, they aren't the most flattering of breeches out there ;) They are super dooper sticky though so that makes it ok!

One thing I will say re Kerrits is, their non-flattering-ness aside they fit most body shapes, which has not always been my experience with other lines.

No help if you can't get them though!

I had a pair of super sticky Kerritts (Sit Tight pant?) and they have the embarrassing habit of squeaking... Still - my legwear of choice for XCing.

Rugged, equitech ones with suede seat or the equitech joss with the grip seat for everyday they have small rubber flecks on them.

Unflattering doesn't really matter as no one will see me and I look pretty hideous in all breeches to be honest but... squeeking I'm not so sure about. I think I might be driven mad. Is it loud?

Will look at the others. The Bentex ones look nice but they don't have my exact size on Amazon and if they don't make them anymore I guess I might struggle to find them.

HKM ones- are they these ones?

I may have (shhh) bought 3 pairs for Derby House (I know it's a dirty word on here sometimes) but they were a tenner each and very practical olive green and chocolate brown with full suede seat which suits me.:o

Well....... I bought a pair of Caldene Belgrade a few years back, they've got a nice high waist and sticky-bum, BUT 30 mins into a pleasure ride, it became anything but "pleasure" riding in the damn things.

They've put a very uncomfortable, bulky seam in, er, um, just the wrong bleddy place :(

The first half hour in them in bliss, but anytime after that is sheer agony!!! VERY bad design. I had to unpick the seams myself and re-do it, not an easy job, very fiddly, and it spoilt the look of the breeches, but it was either that or chuck them.

So would deffo NOT recommend these!

double shhh, I have three pairs from DH too ( a beige pair and two denim pairs) and they all arrived really quickly AND I like all of them

I must be the luckiest girl alive because I have loads of DH stuff and it all turned up on time and functions as it should!!

MJR2BT- that is good to know. That sounds hideous, I don't want that to happen! I'm very impressed that you could be bothered to re-stitch them.I'd have flogged them on ebay to some poor, unsuspecting soul!

For a budget version, Feroti full seat bring sticky seat to a completely new level  You'll walk around with forage/bedding stuck to your arse. They don't last that great, but then again, it must be me, because not many others last me, really.

google is not telling me where to find these?

Another DH fan ;) I just have the suede arese ones, as I have a suede saddle and thats the best way of sticking to it - think fuzzy felt lol :D

I love these Jeffries ones as they are grippy and also have a really thin lower leg which makes it less bulky under long boots. I got one pair full price in local tack shop for about £80 (xmas pressie from mum!) and then bought a 2nd pair in a light colour for competitions mega cheap from this guy on ebay but he only seem to have quite small sizes left now http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JEFFRIES-HIGH-WAIST-COMPETITION-BREECHES-GREY-/161001516576?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Equestrian_Clothing_MJ&var=&hash=item257c702e20

Another recommendation for Kerrits! The downside being that three lows is the only uk stockist, and when they're out of stock it does take a while - i've been waiting for my breeches for 2 months now.
Equetech are also very good, I ordered some a week or so ago (while waiting for my kerrits!) and was very impressed with the stickiness - they do come bigger than expected though, I should have chosen the size down as my usual size is huge & will probably be going on ebay in the near future! x

:D I have even return when they weren't the right size and got the right ones within a week  I do find it depressing when I had to order a 14 though not good for the ego.
