Pro's: Its better than riding with no trousers on!
They dont bunch up under chaps/long boots like jods

Dont mind a brand really, as long as you can ride in them and are cheap.

sorry, I don't understand what you are asking/trying to find out?
breeches are made to be ridden in- so you can ride in them all?
if you are after cheap ones, and it's not urgent- why don't you hang on for the january sales!!!

derby house have some for £20, i have a few pairs & they are comfy

much prefer them to johds, i like wearing long socks with mine even if i am not wearing long boots, don't like the way johds sit under them

i bought cheltenham breeches from robinsons - in the sale at the mo for £19 = bargain! i got white so use them for shows, they have a sticky bum too!

Ive got some John McDougall ones (got them from a local tack shop, not sure if there's a website) and they were £29. They are breeches, ie shorter than jodhs, but they don't have the velcro bit- they just stop midway down your calf with a grippy rubber hem to help them grip your socks so they don't ride up. Very comfy too.
