breed society papers

Just looking at the rule book for PUK - it says that pure breds must have breed society papers. Our pony has his Welsh pony registration number and copy of his pedigree in his passport but there are no separate papers.

Should there be?

I don't think so - I always assumed "papers" means "Passport" - we competed at PUK summer champs this year with no problems, so I think you'd be ok with his passport!

Yep, that's fine.
Before the days of passports, you had separate 'papers'. Now they are incorporated into the passports where applicable.
