Hi all.

As some may be aware i am looking for a nice weight carrying type horse.

Went to view some today, but are a bit out of my price range, even as yearlings.

What i would like to know is if anyone knows any decent and reputable studs/breeders of weight carriers - IDs, Cleveland Bays, Cobs, etc...

I have come to this decision for a few reasons - i am looking for something young which i can spend time with getting to know, something that i can get exactly how i want, have the fun/experience of backing and schooling, and also, price, as hopefully i can get a 1-2 year old that wont be overpriced.

If anyone knows any please let me know, location doesnt matter as im willing to travel.

Thanks.

Irish Draught. I have a rising 3 year old which I've had since a foal. He will be up to weight. Try their website (Irish Draught Society I think).

Hi there. There is lady who posts on here who breeds Spanish Normans Andalusian x Percheron youngstock. I have a 3 year old she bred and he's a stunner (has been placed at county level),. She posts on here, generally on "breeding" under the name Silversons. They are an up and coming alternative to an ID. She has a few foals due this year and has yearlings and I think may have a two year old. PM me if you want her contact details, can also send you some pics of my boy.
