Digby is registered as an ISH, just wondered how much tb he probably has him do you think? As someone said to me "oh hes very thoroughbredy" and someone said he doesnt look like he has much in him. what do you think??
I actually found out that he came off a point to point yard as well in county galway.

any confo critique is good but i dont know if any of these pics are particularly good.

I would say at least 7/8ths as well. Presumably the other bit is ID?

He looks a nice useful sort - I like his bold, friendly expression.

Possibly a bit back at the knee (very hard to tell from pics). His neck is a bit straight and head/neck angle is a bit abrupt, but he seems to have a decent shoulder and length of rein, and his neck is nicely set on. Croup possibly a bit short and steep for my liking - but again difficult to judge from these pics (and my eye is a bit Arab-minded, so not entirely reliable LOL).

Seems like a nice chap anyway - what do you do with him?

im guessing the other part is ID but have no breeding papers at all.
I must take some decent confo shts as i think he is going to change as he muscles.
He has just turned 6 and i am planning on eventing him this year. He has just been to his first few sj shows over the last couple of weeks

he is slightly croup high but my saddler and instructor think he will level out in the next year or so

my boy is 3/4 TB, and is alot chunkier then digby, i know breed type varies, based on sires etc, but i would say that yours would more likely be 7/8ths than 3/4

hes my pride and joy!!

Wouldnt say he has any ID in tbh! He is more likely TBx Connie or some similar Irish mix! Remember Irish Tb's can have a bit more substance to them than our traditional Tb view, my friend has a pure Irish TB (he raced) who looks like a short round pony!! Think you will be surprised how much TB he has in him, but prob has a good dose of other irish heinz 57 types to....as all the best horses do

I would have said 3/4- as the mare in the stable next door is 7/8th and looks much more thoroughbreddy she actually looks alot like Digby just finer.
