Im interested in what your thoughts are about a horse im looking at. Its a mare by clover echo, out of a mare by western promise. Ive not heard of western promise, but think he maybe a SF. But i could be wrong. Advice on performance and temperament traits would be useful. Thanks

Really sorry I can't help but you could try the Breeding section and/or a different title as it almost sounds as though the horse is a western/QH. Hope you have some luck.

how on earth he ended up an ISH when both his parents were TBs I dont know, but then, I'm not into breeding!

found this too
''Final Problem's grand-son - Western Promise (s. Western Problem) was the sire of Robert Smith's Mr Springfield (eq. 4th indiv. Showjumping - Athens Olympics) and closer to home, Abigail Lufkin's international eventer, Hannigan.''

Personally I wouldn't touch a western promise (ISH I believe) with a 10ft pole, but that's because any horses by him that I have known have been complete spanners who enjoyed spending time on their hindlegs. That said, some people like them *shrugs*

Sorry. Just realised my mistake. The Dam sire is western problem. Not western promise, as i said in my first post. But thank you Vizslack for the info, and pointing out that W problem is W promise sire!
