OK - as said really- I have been trying to order a some stuff off of them all week and am having no luck and finding them to be very unprofessional.

First of all I was trying to order online and even though I am registered, whenever I log in it doesn't work and won't let me order...SO...I ring them as it says orders also over the phone...

Receptionist then uhmms and aahs saying that they don't really do orders over the phone and even so I need to speak to 'Jo' and she is in a meeting, could I give my name and order details and she will call me back (this is at 10am). At 1pm still no reply so I try again. Jo still meeting with customers and said I have to leave with them and she will return call. Still no reply.

Today, website still not allowing me to order and Jo still in a meeting......

How on earth do these guys expect to do business is the site doesn't work and ther is never anyone available to take my order??

Has anyone else ha experiences with these guys? It's $%^&* me off to be frank as I am honestly now wondering whether, if I DID place and order finally, would I ever be able to expect to see my goods???
 
I used them last year and could not have faulted them at all. Have not used them this year, so cannot comment.

But as you rightly say, if they cannot get the website to work, or you cannot even phone in your order then what is that saying.
 
It's just got me a little bit concerened as the receptionist is being less than helpful and well I need the stuff soon!!! Would go elsewhere but they are one of he few places in the UK that do the stuff...might just end up seeing if I can get it through the vets.

Have been very patient and as I myself work for an online company, I know all about website probs but if they're advertising themselves the way they are and theoretically wanting to make money you would think they would take the orders...their ads even say order online or over the phone....
 
It does sound all very strange indeed. Last year they were really good in sending us our items and for keeping us up-to-date on anything that they were waiting on. So goodness knows what has happened to them this year.

Perhaps you could send a PM to AndyPandy and see if he has any contacts where you can get any items from.
 
I tried to order stuff weeks ago and their website wasn't working then. Kept trying and eventually phoned and like you had to leave my number for someone to call back. Admittedly they did that afternoon but think they need to get them selves sorted very soon as starting to look very unprofessional. Their website is not very good at all and that worries me a bit.

I ordered some things through the web site last week and then phoned the following morning to add something I forgot. I needed advice and "Jo" would phone me back which she did the same morning. She was very helpful and told me that the items would all be sent in 1 package and would arrive on Thursday (ordered Tuesday). The package arrived on Thursday with no problems - all items as described. I couldn't fault the service and help.
 
I bought some breeding bits from them over the last couple weeks, no problem, helpful etc ....when did this happen eventrider23?? do you have any problems with your registration or payments?
 
I have just had a lovely email from the owner of breeding supplies (Jo I believe) saying that she can only apologise for these probs and if I ring her on her mobile she will ensure it is dispatched to me with free postage to make up for the probs....very lovely of her.

I have been very puzzled by it as from all accounts they provide a good service - and probs with the website aside i was very puzzled as to why I couldn't order over the phone/never heard back from them (to answer your question Zeres, I was trying to order since last Wednesday and when I realised the webste wasn't working properly I was trying to order over the phone. When I couldn't get in touch with anyone other than leaving a message with the receptionist, I thought I would post on here and see if anyone else had had any similar experiences).

Anyhow, needless to say, all will hopefully be sorted now and my stuff should be with me later this week (will be good to have them as they are just the final few things I need for foaling kit before the babies start making their appearances).
