Breeds you see most of?

I'm English but live in the States. When I was home for Christmas, it felt like every dog I saw was a Springer Spaniel! There also seemed to be a lot of Yorkies, Jack Russells and Labradors.

In NYC, you see anything and everything, but toy breeds tend to dominate (Chihuahuas every ten feet!); equally there are a lot of shelter dogs about, especially downtown.

What kind of dogs do you see most of where you live?

Collies, used on the farms.

loads of labs round here...
also westies, the place is coming down with em.
and theres a lady with 6 border terriers...

and i see plenty of my two fools!

Staffs

When in town, but mostly labs and spaniels out here. Esp on shoot days

I also see a ton of springers out here and also labradors. Into town it seems to be jack russels, westies and kind charles spaniels.

Funnily enough, on walks I meet quite a few greyhounds and lurchers - although do I notice them more because of mine?!

Other than that a real mix at the livery yard - gorgeous deerhound puppy, couple of mongrels, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and small terriers.

When I go back to see my parents..... cavaliers as far as the eye can see

Lots of staffy's around here and unfortunatly also alot at the local rehoming centres. Other than them, Labs are most common i would say along with collies and boxer dogs. i have got two collies and a staffie cross myself.

Yes, they're fairly common here as well. And mini dachshunds -- I see a ton of those! French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers are also very common, too. Last year I took my Boston to a meet-up in the city -- 34 of the little blighters there were. I don't think I've ever seen a single Boston in England.

where I live in London it is staffie crazy... mostly wearing huge studded collars - but I do live in the 'delboy and rodney' area....

Funny, my mum was saying on the phone last night she was thinking of breeding Frenchies instead of cavaliers - I was trying to persuade her to think whippets instead, just love them

Labs...always labs..and hunting dogs and collies with 90|% of people not catering for any of their needs...rant, rave...It seems quite fashionable to have some form of gun dog but we do live in the country.

Labs (mainly black), border collies, springers, GSD's and cockers are all pretty common round here. I've seen more and more weimaraners in the past couple of years. There are quite a few yorkies round here, too, and Shih-tzus. (I live in an area with great dog-walking and lots of local elderly people!)

I live in Devon and its mainly JRT's, Springers and Collie's round here although a local lady walks her Papillon past my gate everyday just to set off my dogs (a collie and 2 JRT's)!!!
