Ok I have finally decided the small shows at my own yard well are too small, the jumps this show were no more than 4 inches!!, so would like for the first time go and do something different, is this worth it as a first try as its about 2 hours hack or 10 mins horsebox from me???

Thanks

Jess

Blimey ! Is it really a 2 hour hack

Anyway, I can only comment on the BSJA shows there but as you probably know it's got one of the best all-weather arena's in the country so yes, definitely worth going if the classes are being run on that

If it is going to be outdoors, then its def worth going, however if you are taking Pickles i have a feeling their indoor school would be almost impossible for you to steer in on him as it really is tiny - it is a perfect size for 12.2hh/13.2hh but anything bigger and jumping in there is a nightmare!

Hmmmmm I have to disagree about the outdoor surface when its dry its not that great, it gets very slippy on the top, and is a different consistancy from one end to the the other as they use one end more than the other, so the horses can get unsure. There was alot of peoples horses struggling with the bigger tracks on the surface over the 5 day show over the summer but if its been raining/is damp then that helps it alot.
But I'm sure it will be fine this time of year and I say definaltey worth you going
