Pretty much as the title said really? And if so what did you think of the stallions on offer?
I went to both and I have to say that some of the young stallions coming up at Brendons are going to be something special. Of the ridden youngsters i was very impressed with Darco Ferrari, a 4 (rising 5) year old son of Unbelievable Darco - this boy is BEAUTIFUL! I would be using him in a shot except taht he si just way too big for my mare (17.1 NOW and with 9.5 inches of bone!)
They have however just got in a new 3 year old colt from the continent who I think I am going to be using. He is by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve who is in turn by Argentinus out of a Nimmerdor mare and his dam line is Ladykiller/Landgraf/Gotthard. He is an absolute darling of a colt, having only been in the country for 2 days, he loose schooled like a gentleman and then stood in his box all day whilst people poked and prodded and of course gave cuddles. Saw Millenium at the Hobgoblins Open Day yesterday and boy is that sweetest and most well mannered stallion I have ever met. He's not right for my mare but one of the other liveries at my yard is possibly now going to be using him for her mare after she has her current Caretino Glory foal.
Did anyone else go and see anyone they liked?
