I have just bought some Brewers Yeast as everyone seemed to say it was a good calmer.
Any idea how much I should be giving him?
I thought I saw 40mg a day on here somewhere, but don't seem to be able to find that now!!!
Any help or advice would be great!!

I feed 25ml (same a gs) in winter and 50ml in summer for sweet itch control

Not sure if it works as a calmers, as my boys are pretty quiet to the extent that they are fed top spec turbo and red cell, but that includes his brother who doesn't get the brewers yeast!

Why does he need a calmer? What does he do? I only ask as we have cut down use of many of our client's horses' clamers because we have found that a lot of it is due to not necessarily 'poor' feeding, but feeding not suited to the horse.

Ok i shall give 25g a day ago.
Thanks so much for that.

Regards to what he is fed and what is he doing!

He is on Spillers H & P Cubes and Lucie Stalks from Simple Systems.

Thats it.

Spooks at anything and everything!
Shadows, grass, puddles, rubbish, drains, yellow grit bins,
dust bins, something that could posibly be in the hedge!
The last time we hacked out he jumped from one side of the road to the other because there was a piece of news paper rubbish on the grass verge!
Worried about getting run over!!
Horse he rides out with doesnt bat an eyelid at anything!
My boy just jumps out of his skin!
Infact we hack out with a 5 year old who is less spooky than we are and my boy is 9 yrs old.......
