as the title says . .
i was wondering if it would make a difference to a horse with sweet itch.
id be interested to know if anyone has used it for this purpose and have they seen any difference.

Yes, I use it for skin and hoof condition and general well being; it's also meant to help with flies in the summer, a bit like garlic does. I had one in the autumn with a crusty neck and it cleared it up in no time so the sweet itch thing is true I would have thought! Introduce it slowly, some horses don't like the taste until they're used to it. I've now got a sack from Charnwood as it's much cheaper that way and it does have a good shelf life but not worth it unless you know you will use it, cheaper to get a tub from Westgate or similar.

I began using it for a new horse that was declared to be a sweetitch sufferer after reading about it on here. This was in a january and she didn't itch once all that summer. Used it from February last year and no itching. My Charnwoods ran out late July and I didn't replace it, she began to rub her mane out. Bought more, soon stopped the rubbing.

I give it year round for coats and condition to every horse that is here.
