Hi there
I'd like to supplement my horse's feed with BY and have been recommended Charnwood Milling to buy these from. However it looks like they only have 25kg bags of BY, and I'm worried it will go off before I can use it all, given that the daily amounts are quite small.

Can anyone tell me how long BY keeps for, and/or alternative suppliers who sell smaller amounts?

Thank you!

Natural Horse Supplies sell 900g bags.

Progressive Earth sell 3kg and 7kg bags.

Both sellers are on eBay.

Just type brewer's yeast into the search under equestrian.

I have bought from both sellers several times (and the sellers of Progressive Earth are friends of mine). So I can safely recommend both sellers.

WEstgate Gold Label sell it so if you can find a stockist of that company they should be able to get it for you; I got it from my feed merchant. I was paying about £9 for 1.5kg before I changed to Charnwood.

Cheers guys. Lots of good recommendation as ever! Will try the smaller amount and buy it in bulk if it works out, obviously cheaper in then long run.

I buy a sack from Charnwood and it does my two about a year and it is still within the date on the sack when finished.

If you want smaller amounts, simple systems and feedmark are worth looking at.
