Someone recommended brewers yeast as a calmer for a nervous/anxious horse - just wondered how much you would feed on a daily basis? Presume it depends on weight?
Thanks

I find that it is not a calmer as such, but it gave my rather flihty gelding a lot more resources and he handles stress better. Full of B vits and other good things!

I feed abotu 2 heaped tablespoons a day - you are cheapest to buy it from an agri feed store - about £3 a kg.

Thats wierd! Me and hubby were just on about feeding this to horses! Spooky! Then, they were on about it on Countryfile! Now this post! Wierdsville!
I thought it was good for keeping condition on? However, my mare is in very good nick but is very very sharp to ride. So if it helps your flighty horse Might be worth me getting some. Hubby makes wagons for a brewery so should be able to get some from there easy enough.
