Brewers Yeast??

Ive heard brewers yeast can be a good supplement.
I know it improves digestion..but will that make a rather fat pony even fatter? i would love to use it for its hoof improving qualities (pony has cracky feet) but if it puts on weight i wont be able to as he is on a diet

p.s if not, recommend any hoof supplements to encourage growth and stop cracking>?x

You can probably feed Fast Fibre as a carrier feed and add something like pro hoof

You need a balanced mix of things to support good hoof growth.

My horse was on brewers yeast for a few years to help his digestion on recommendation of feed company- I have only just found out all the other things its supposed to do and I didn't notice any of them! He's inclined to be squidgy round the edges but he's no thinner now he's come off of it, and his hooves have always been bad and were bad while on it. Its also supposed to be a calmer but he's lazy and hasn't changed since being off it! Only thing I noticed was improved digestion. Stopped using it in the end because we had a long drive to buy it and we kept getting mouldy bags
