How much do you feed?
I ran out and didn't replace it for about a month. My mare become quite spooky and could really tell the difference.
But now she is back on it she is just so quiet, chilled and very very laid back. Maybe even a little lazy. Currently i feed one 30ml scoop once a day, does that sound too much?

I feed it along with micronized linseed and magnesium as the fields have been tested and are actully magnesium deficient.

Hi I use Brewers Yeast as well, I am using it because the B vitamins are supposed to reduce allergic/inflammatory responses so I am seeing if it helps his COPD. I feed 1 30ml scoop a day as well, I get mine from feedmark and that actually recomment feeding 50ml a day so sounds like you're fine.

hi i started feeding it for my boys skin, hes a nervous stressy lad the amount i feed depends on the weather more when windy and hot brillant stuff and have just found ,a place that i can buy 25kgs for fifty pound yrs supply:)

Ohh... where do you get 25kg for £50? How well does it last? ie does it get damp?

I've usually fed 25g during winter/summer, and up to 50g in spring/autumn or if flies/midges are particulrly bad - works a treat :)

I buy mine in 900g bag from natural horse supplies for a couple of quid (where I also buy my magnesium from)
It recommends 1-2 heaped tea spoons so my stressy mare gets 1.5 and my stressy youngster gets 1 lol.
I was thinking about getting a bag from Charnwood but was worried about it going off as I don't go through it that fast.

Sorry for being thick! Does this act as a calmer? We have some in the tackroom for the cat if she get fleas but haven't heard of it being given to horses too
