Bricky Landrover Finals, who else is going

Oh no, how come? He was going so well too.

LEC and I will be there doing the Novice, we're there both days as we have day before dressage, and are travlling in my lorry, so we will try and say hi!

Shame for Choc hope its all ok with him.
I will be there with Spotted Cat and I think we will actually all see each other because the landrovers are really early in the morning.
If you do well in the landrover challenge will your mind about eventing be swayed?

It will be up to C, but she has so many good horses waiting in the wings it seems daft to carry on with a 16 year old...we are in the difficult position of having to sell at least two of the three or four year olds once they are broken, as she can't ride them all and I can't afford to fund them either! plus it will be fun to see how he does under affilliated judges.
His new regime of her being more forceful and him getting higher powered feed may go either way he'll get highmarks or explode!!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you both then, we could do with some rain really, the ground's going to be very hard

I'm doing the Intro landrover challenge. I am last to go in my section, but if you are still there when i get there i will try and find you and say hello.
Have you been before? I did it last year, its a very friendly event.

Hi Sue, hope you had a fab time? Boo is going to Bricky to do the Pre Novice, then he will finish the season at Aldon, fingers x'd.

Hopefully see you there

Yay lots of H and H'ers, that always makes for a friendly event!
No we have never been there, what's it like? This year did Bovington and Moreton, both much flatter than we are used to.
Our blue and purple box is very easy to spot, and I always make a tea or coffee if you need one!

Its on top of a hill, so pray for good weather cos its really bleak up there if the weathers bad! Its a fairly flat course. Cross country courses last year were well up to height and the pre novice asked quite a lot of questions but there are always alternatives for the more difficult fences. It is a very compact event with not far to walk between phases and its really well run and friendly.
They have lovely prizes for the landrover challenge. Last year i came 2nd and won a Mattes platinum numnah and a horsewear fleece rug.
I will hopefully see you there.
Best of luck!

Thanks, with the temps dropping I already plan to put back the calor gas heater in the box before the weekend, if the living is warm at least then we will be ok.
It's going to be a hard class to get placed in I reckon, because every single horse will have been placed at PN within this season.
Glad it's all compact, I loathed Bovington as that damned fence meant walking round half a mile every time you went anywhere..
I just hope we don't get very early times or it will be a middle of the night start from here, it's around 80 plus miles I think.
Chocx isn't clipped yet as so early but his coat is already thickening up fast, I reckon we're in for a pig of a winter this year..
See you there...
