I know it's probably a grey area because if people buy them it's lining the owners pocket etc but i would really like to take a couple and offer perm loving home. Now I know a couple is nothing and the time/effert/vet bills etc involved iv been there before but would really like a couple off this guy to give a life to.
Does anybody know him? Can put me in touch?
I don't want this to turn into a arguement off any sort just if somebody could put me in touch with the right person I would be greatful to improve the life of 2.

His name was given out on that Week in Week Out programme I think (or was it Wales today)
His contact details I imagine will then be easy to find on his website. If you do a little googling you'll find that easily enough :)

Why won't he sell? Iv sent a message via his website if it's still in use?
I would just like to offer a home and will even be nice to him;)

He doesn't use the website. Last updated 2009.

He's not answering his phone a great deal atm either.

Why don't you contact redwings? They have 40 of the rescues from Mr price.

I hope I don't come across as arrogant, but take it from experience, you won't buy one of them horses from that man.

He will however have a nice £10000 stallion if you want that?

Mountainview22 it's ok, nice to have some background on him but makes me wonder why he don't just sell and sort things out?
Have u tried to buy a cob off him?or do u live locally so know all the goings on?
Pm me if you like but I would like to try and speak to him as long as he's not going to be a total arse. Surely he breed them to sell to start with?
I'm not local so know nothing about the guy

I can't pm, on phone. I'm very very local.

I can't tell you why he won't sell up. I have no idea.

I have, had £1000 to spend, he showed me nothing under £5k.

Then turned up at my yard a few Weeks back asking to buy my colt.

also I'm too local to it all if that's possible?

They weren't bred to sell per se, they we're bred to export as "riding ponies" (meat without as much paperwork).

Feel free to pm me your email address and I'll answer as much as I can. I can provide you with his number, but he hasn't answered calls for a few Weeks.
