Right, it's my birthday coming up and I want to take the opportunity to spoil my horse and make him look even more handsome. First thing is a new bridle! He also needs some cross country boots. What bridle/boots would you recomment and also what would you add to the ultimate birthday shopping list? So exciting!

Sabre bridles are nice

I love my Albion KB bridle and would recommend it to anyone as it's great quality and looks as good as new even after two years & I also have a Cliff Barnsby Comfort bridle thats great quality and looks smart (it was made to order for no extra cost).
Other things I would add would be a waterproof Musto jacket, an equiport show jacket and a matching numnah, fleece rug & headcollar set to use at shows (I've seen some nice JW and Anky matching items that I have my eye on).

My personal experience is the quality of the leather used on my Albion is better than Sabre or Jefferies (these are both makes I've previously used and would rate). I've not had my Cliff Barnsby long and my pony has only worn it a handful of times, but the leather is lovely and it looks very smart.

Bridles not too sure - though I had a lovely lemetex one that was particularly good for finer heads. XC boots I would go for Style or NEW. If you want the reinforced ones with the strike pads. They are both really good, but quite expensive.

Albion bridle - I'm a bit of a hoarder and have many, plus sabre. Kieffer, JW to name but a few, but the Albion is the best. Plus I use eskadron boots - haven't found any better than them yet.............

Bridle... depends on the price your lookign at. But i'd always go with Kirkland.

XC boots... eskadron everytime, quick to put on, secure and wash up fab in the machine

I agree about the Albion KB - I love mine! I'd also treat myself to a LOS jacket so I look smart on my well turned out horse!!! Actually, I've got a LOS jacket as of last weekend. It's gorgeous!!!
