Following my previous post on bridles I have ruled out Mark Todd and am now torn between Stubben (which would match my Bates saddle) or Barnsby (which won't match but would have a padded headpiece).

It's for a TB if that makes any difference to your opinion, and feel free to make any other comments but I'm not fond of sabre as find the nosebands too chunky.

So poll time......

Barnsby definitely.

I would have to side step both those and get Albion. I have the albion elevator and the heavily padded head piece and crank nosebank made a huge difference to my tb, he is much happier in it than the plain leatrher sabre i had before, more padding the better imho

Thanks for the comments all

I've heard good things about the Kate Negus bridles but never seen them and don't want to order online as had mixed success so far.

Don't really like Albion, I find the nosebands too chunky on him and I tried a sabre with well padded noseband and a crank and he wasn't overly happy in it - don't use any noseband at home.

posie_honey - made the measure will be the next step if I can't find one I like, quite possible given how fussy I am

don't much like Albions either - OK on a monster warmblood (and if you've got a monster wallet) but way too chunky for a TB.
Barnsby for comfort - Stubben for durability.

I've just bought a Kieffer actually, after much deliberation, and I'm incredibly impressed. However- other than that, and if they'd had the brass buckles and clips to the bit that I wanted on any of their models, Stubben.

Stubben do do a bridle with a padded headpiece, I bought one last month......not cheap but I love it would post a pick but pc is playing up so cant!
