I need a new bridle and have always used the one my horses came with so Im at a loss as to the choices.
What are the differences between Cavesson, Elevated, Comfort etc.
I just hack with my horse nothing serious, just a few jumps here and there and he's in a snaffle without any extras at the moment.

Me too - Looking for a plain, un crank, un flash, un diamante (not for my Hunter i dont think!) un over stiched bridle seems impossible right now!
Let me know how it goes!!!

If you just want something plain but good quality, you can't go wrong with Jeffries or Sabre bridles IMO :) (They do them with bells & whistles too :D but I have had good plain bridles from them and they will last a lifetime)

I have an Elevator and I love it. Although, I only hack now and I cant say it makes much difference to her way of going. It is a lot of money but it is good quality so it depends how much money you have to spend and whether you feel that the cost of the bridle is worth it.

The leather is much better than any other bridle IMO.

It has a patented design so it can not be used by anyone else although lots have designed something very similar. It stops poll pressure thus allowing the horse to focus on the job in hand.
