I would like some recommendations please for a bridle. My boy has a GFS bridle which is nice but I feel its a little big for him in that the noseband is a little too wide (even though its a plain snaffle type). He has quite a fine head so I want a bridle which is a bit more delicate. Just a plain snaffle one (dont even need a flash). Want buckles on the inside (dont like the outer ones). Will be used for eventing / SJ mainly so dont want an actual "showing" type one. At the same time I want it to be comfy for him

I was thinking of a Stubben 3000? They look quite fine and comfy with the split head? Or there's a Stubben one with brass buckles which looks nice (dont know which type it is).

Do the Stubben ones come up big or small size-wise? Basically because my horse has a fine head, he is almost in between a cob and a full.

Thanks

If you have a fine headed horse i would go for a rolled leather one. Derby house do a good value for money one. the buckles are on the top of the head in some of these and for fine horses this is noce as it enhances the face. I would not have fussy brass buckles on a horse with a delicate head.
