I have a half share in a 15.2hh mare, she is inbetween cob and pony sizes! We have been looking and trying bridles for some time and cant seem to find one that fits her well.
She seem to need the length in the cheek, and head piece, but nose band and throat lash are always big on her.
Would preper a well known good quality make, as its going to be her show bridle.
Here is a pic so you know what might suit her.

P.s has to be black, and a flash or grackle.

I had the same problem with J, he had full sized brow band and nose band with cob size head piece and cheek pieces. I ended up with a Kate Negus bridle, they will send you a mix of sizes so you can measure her and chose which bits you want. Plus thy are absolutely gorgeous bridles

I think you might be better going to a local tack shop and getting them to make you a bridle up from pieces that fit. I took a photo of my horse in with me, and the mismatched bridle I was using in with me, and got one that fits perfectly, and is nice enough for showing.

Are you near Manchester, or am I thinking of someone else?

As people have said you probably need a bit of a mix. Most saddlers will do this for you. We have elevator bridles for both of our horses and you can provide them with measurements; ours (16.1 & 16.2) have a mixture of Cob & Full Size parts.

I have the same problem to with my Maxi Cob who in Bridles is part cob, part full and part x full!!! But I just made it all up seperatly (spent about an hour in the tack shop) but now have a perfect fitting hunter bridle made from really good leather and even managed to save some pennies doing it this way and got a fatter noseband so am very pleased!!

Thanks for all you replies. Yes i think this is the route i will have to take. Might go to my local tack shop today and see what i can find.
Fairhill- yes i am near warrington so not far from manchester.
