I desperately need to find a bridle to use with a Hackamore for my mare and can't find one anywhere! All my bridles have the extra strap for the noseband so it would just flap around if if I put the Hackamore on :(
I'm looking for something full size, brown, preferably with an anatomical headpiece as my mare has very sensitive ears. Can't find anything anywhere!
What do other people use? Any help gratefully appreciated.

Yeah, I was a little confused about the flapping noseband strap thing too. But if using a normal bridle you do often have to mix and match the cheek pieces to get the right adjustment

Any normal bridle works with a hackamore.

Any bridle is fine just slide the noseband off and hook the hackamore to the cheek pieces and reins onto the shanks make sure fits high enough and comfortably round the jaw and that is all you need to do.

I use a standard full size head piece plus browband with no noseband and pony cheek pieces to make up my hackamore bridles. I haven't found any ordinary bridle which doesn't need bits changing so far.

I just use a regular headpiece and shorter cheeks but if you want padded head there isn’t much choice.

You could use one of the headpieces where the noseband slots through holes in the headpiece but I’m always concerned that’s the leather either side of the hole is too thin to be safe.

... or if you’ve got a bit to spend the dy’on hackamore bridle has everything that you’re looking for https://sederholm.co.uk/copy-of-dyon-new-english-collection-flash-noseband-bridle

Hi all perhaps I didn't explain myself very well! My bridles are all PS of Sweden so they have two straps on the anatomical headpiece, one for the noseband and one for the cheekpieces so if you take the noseband off and put the Hackamore on you have an extra piece flapping down from the headpiece!!!
