Could some-one please explain in simple terms what this means ??

eta - Sol is 'bridle lame' according to cavalry man just wondered what it meant as it was me riding at the time

this is an uneveness of gait and/or head carrige mainly caused by resistance to the bit and pressure on the reins by the riders hands.
bad schooling can also be a factor.
 
An apparent lameness due to the horse being unbalanced, being pushed out of its natural rythym or through a poor, inconsistant contact not backed up by sufficient leg.
 
any horse that is badly ridden will be a candidate for bridle lameness, as will any horse that is not sufficently schooled.
there can be many contributing factors to a condition that simply means "rider induced lameness".
but as in all cases, a youngster is most prone to "going wrong" if the rider is not experienced in bringing on.
 
Yes , comments had been made that rider , rides with too much hand and not enough leg . So I suppose thats why
